Project Features
The project focuses on developing T.A.G. growth mindset, which consists of:
- Transformation: Transform to be a better self. It’s the task of changing who you are and becoming the person you want to be.
- Actualization: Actualize your desire with practical steps. A person's desire to use all their abilities to achieve and be everything that they possibly can.
- Gratification: Gratify your needs in giving and taking. Gratification is the pleasurable emotional reaction of happiness in response to a fulfillment of a desire or goal.
In addition, the project highlights the importance of mental health concerns for stakeholders, such as parents and teachers. Recognising the close correlation between youth mental health and their families and school environment, this project aims to enhance the mental well-being of these stakeholders, ultimately contributing to the mental health needs of youth.
The project also emphasises community engagement for working with youth. By exploring and understanding community resources, reflecting on their sense of belonging to the "youth community," and building a positive support network, youth are encouraged to:
- Participate in the yearly basis Power On Ambassador Scheme, which encourages their awareness of community needs.
- The theme of the Power On Ambassador Scheme last year was Power On Music Show (白籽音樂分享會), where participants raised public understanding on youth by sharing their voices, perspectives and stories. This initiative fostered connections between youth and the public.
