Integrated Family Services

We provide integrated services with a child-centred, family-focused and community-based approach. Our integrated services promote resilience among families and individuals, and facilitate effective ways to prevent and cope with difficulties and challenges.

Currently we have 6 Integrated Family Service Centres located in North Point, Yau Tong, Shun Lee, Sham Shui Po, Tseung Kwan O and Kwai Chung. With a “family-centric” perspective, we provide comprehensive and professional services to families, to help them handle various problems, develop the potential of individuals and families, enhance family resilience and strengthen family mutual help in the community to build a caring society.

Jockey Club One Stop Service for Men

Description of the Project:

Men nowadays face a lot of challenges such as mid-life crisis, couple relationship, parenting, body mind health, career issue, etc. which may result in stress in their everyday lives.  With the sponsorship by Hong Kong Jockey Club, the three-year project “Jockey Club One Stop Service for Men” was launched in order to provide multi-level services for men and their families. 

Objectives:

- To alleviate men’s stress, anxiety or depressive symptoms arising from work, family conflicts and other life crisis especially from the pandemic situation and financial stress.

- To help in the early identification of men users’ service needs.

- To foster a social support network among men users.

Target:

Males, 18 or above, who manifest signs of stress arising from their work, family-related issues such as parenting and marital relationship and other life crisis.

Service Provision:

1. Seminar – To offer practical knowledge for men on body, mind and spiritual aspects.

2. Life rebuilding Class – To provide practical training for men in different areas and expand their diversified interest.

3. Family activity – To cultivate harmonious family relationship through different family activities. 

4. Father-child relationship training – To enhance men’s parental skills in order to build a harmonious family relationship.

5. Mutual Help Group – To provide a platform for men’s mutual support.

6. Self-enhancement Group – To render group work activities for men who experience life stress and emotional distress.

7. Community education – To have road show, community exhibition and visits to promote men’s services.

8. Volunteer work – To form group of volunteers to provide services to the needy and to develop their sense of belonging in the community.
