Against COVID
As the Covid-19 pandemic persists, for fear of being infected, I seldom meet my friends and socialise with people, which make me feeling lonely sometimes. What should I do to protect the mental health of myself and my family?
Mental health is as important as physical health. Reducing social interactions may lessen the chance of getting infected. However, being socially isolated can bring negative impacts on your mental health in the long run. Luckily in the digital era, you can make good use of different online platforms (such as Zoom or Skype) to maintain contact with your families and friends. Besides, you can also organise your favourite family activities while staying at home, such as doing exercises, watching movies, playing board games, or doing chores together are also good choices, which can enhance family relationships and uplift physical and mental health at the same time.
