Against COVID
I got infected with Covid-19 before, so I dared not to visit my elderly parents who have chronic illnesses. While the epidemic remains volatile, they miss their grandchildren and hope we can visit them more often during holidays. What should I do?
It is recommended to inform your parents the reason behind. While expressing your understanding on their emotions, you can also tell them your worries on their health and potential chance of getting infected. Under the deteriorating COVID-19 situation, you can make calls to care for them. The most important thing is to keep in touch with them, relieving their concern towards grandchildren. You may consider visiting them under safe conditions (e.g. their living building is not on the lists of compulsory testing and restriction-testing declaration) or when there is improvement in the pandemic situation.
