Senior Manager (Elderly Service)
(Full-time / Half-time)

The job holder will assist Head of Service in resources planning, service performance monitoring, premises dealing, data-informed service development, systems building and complaint handling in elderly service.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and further develop manual, protocols, policies and procedures in order to strengthen the service teams in handling difficult cases and critical incidents.
  • Mentor and support junior management staff to handle critical complaints or incidents of serious nature.
  • Write up submission to the government, either in response to a consultation or on our own initiative, concerning issues related to elderly care policy.
  • Assist in the exploration of sub-studies of the Family Wellbeing Index on caregivers' needs and related topics.
  • Deal with external parties such as government department, statutory bodies, etc.

Requirements:

  • Registered Social Worker
  • Degree in Social Work with 7 years’ post-graduate solid experience
  • Substantial experience with management or supervisory role in the elderly service
  • Excellent analytical abilities to approach challenges
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
